Summit Sponsorship Opportunities

The 2nd annual State of the Santa Barbara Wedding Industry Summit has been re-imagined to a whole new level.  Now considered a “Mastermind Summit Retreat” for Santa Barbara special event and hospitality leaders, this elegant full day of wedding business education, decadent cuisine, incredible networking opportunities and some other surprises promises to wow, delight, inspire, and just may be the industry event of the year here on the American Riviera.  Check out our 2019/2020 Agenda in Progress here.

Last year’s Summit sold out 3 months in advance with attendees from all corners of our industry:  wineries, resorts, inns, photographers, caterers, makeup artists, museums, wedding planners, private estates, florists, rental companies, videographers, musicians, DJs and more.  This year we expect to sell-out, too, and especially because we are limiting it to no more than 50 participants, it will be incredibly exclusive and intimate.  Summit participants  will reap the benefits of feeling like they have invested in a day of personal business-coaching with our key anchor being internationally-acclaimed wedding business coach & speaker Ms. Liene Stevens of Think Spendid, as well as other featured business experts.  And did we mention the venue:  Music Academy of the West?  Currently all the expenses to produce this invaluable all-day industry event equate to almost $900 per person.  Our goal is to get it down to about $295-$375 per person so it can be affordable for most.  To do this, it will require some sponsorship support.

Election Campaign

This year, we have a soft hold on internationally-acclaimed wedding business consultant Liene Stevens from Think Splendid, who is known for her dedicated wedding industry research, as well as business and marketing strategies relatable to all niches in the wedding industry.  Ms. Stevens has a wealth of current information that will help all participants succeed and jump start 2020 with insider's knowledge of what's going on and what is to come.   She speaks regularly all over the world to wedding business leaders,  and is highly-sought-after.   She will be the core "anchor" of our all-day Summit Retreat offering several hours of a dedicated workshop in between other featured speakers, and since our attendance is limited, participants will receive what is very close to a personal consultation for their business.  She will also be attending the event as a guest, and is available for networking and conversations on breaks and during our sunset cocktail party.   Take a sneak peek at our current working summit agenda here.

Our Speaker Sponsor will receive the followingtwo complimentary summit passes to attend the Mastermind Summit Retreat; a featured mention in Speaker's Welcome Basket in her hotel room;  mentions in all pre-event press releases to local media;  listing on website event page;  featured on Facebook Event Page;  continual mentions in all  pre-event social media campaigns on Facebook (2050 followers per post), Instagram & Twitter (3,546 followers combined per post ) - 90% of social media followers are industry professionals locally, nationally, & internationally; mention in 3 dedicated pre-event email blasts  and one post-event email blast to over 1,000 leading wedding, event & hospitality professionals in Santa Barbara, Ventura and Los Angeles areas;  receive a mini "commercial" video showcasing their business and shared on social media pre-event;  Day-of the Summit, Speaker Sponsor's logo will be featured as lead sponsor at top of  welcome sign at check in, on table-top signs throughout event;  and receive featured prominence on opening and closing Powerpoint presentation by Founder.  Additionally, Speaker Sponsor will have access to providing any marketing materials they would like in the Swag Bags going home with participants.   Post- event, Speaker Sponsor will have access to the Summit attendee list. (note: these benefits are valid for one sponsor who covers the entire value of the sponsorship).

We are also open to several sponsors participating in sharing the role of Speaker Sponsor and the sponsor benefits will be re-negotiated separately from above.

What is an event without live music?  At Music Academy of the West, it would almost be sacrilege to host an event without music.  As we can only have acoustic music at their location,  we are looking for guitarists, pianists and anyone else who would like to be considered for the following sections of the Summit:   Champagne Brunch in the Garden;  During 30 minute breaks off and on during the day; and ending with the Farewell Cocktail Party at the end.  Think creatively - we are also open to vocalists- trios, barbershop quartets, and more.
